About

sunshine

Divorce is overwhelming, and moving on can seem like an impossible task. Like the first steps on a rickety bridge over a ravine, moving forward in the months and years following the big "D" are often unsteady.

We know what it feels like to have your world dissolve before your eyes. We've been there. Grief, anger, and pain painted a bleak picture of the future, and we were stuck in the colorless landscape. We needed advice. How do we tell the kids? How do we structure a separation agreement? How do we find a good lawyer? How do we deal with abuse? How do we divide our property fairly? These questions were just the beginning.

During those dark times, we wished that we had resources to help us cope and a community of people to share our struggles with. So we created this website with those goals in mind.

We are here to tell you that it does get better. You'll laugh again. You'll have valuable relationships. And you will find happiness. Keep moving forward, because there is hope after divorce.

Our educational resources at the Divorce Support Center include articles written by divorce experts, support groups, and an ever-growing list of scholarship opportunities available to divorcees and/or their children.
